With more than two decades of education experience, Mary Northcutt is dedicated to creating a classroom where every student feels inspired to explore their creativity, build confidence, and discover the joy of making art. She joined Marietta City Schools in 2005 and teaches Carnegie Art, Studio Art, Wheel Visual Art, and Adaptive Art at Marietta Middle School.
Outside of school, Mary is a textile artist who also enjoys painting with watercolors and experimenting with new artistic media. On weekends, you'll often find her exploring vintage shops with her sons or trying a restaurant with adventurous dishes she wouldn't normally cook at home.
Mary looks forward to getting to know each of her students and partnering with families for a creative, successful, and fun-filled year.
